I attended the Buena Vista Sportsman's Club Gun Show yesterday and among the several hundred attending, I estimate I met between 100-150 people  - shaking hands, introducing myself, giving them a business card, and discussing my candidacy with them. It was great!

Of course, being a gun show, most everyone I met was concerned with the protection of their rights to firearm ownership. Almost all shared my concern in defending and protecting the people of Colorado from intrusions/mandates from the federal government against their firearm ownership, ammunition types, as well as being concerned about other federal intrusions into the state of Colorado. Other topics discussed included the state budget, agriculture, the fees and taxes being imposed upon the people in Colorado, as well as other issues people had with the state.

I was very happy to be so warmly received. Soon as I began meeting people I was met with remarks from people who already knew of my campaign. Several mentioned hearing my radio interviews and reading newspaper stories about my candidacy. Quite a few people told me they had seen my campaign ads in their newspapers. Sometimes when I finished talking with one person, one- to three others were standing nearby and told me they'd heard what I said and wanted my card.

I am greatly encouraged by the number of people very interested in my campaign, and by the number of people who said they will be voting for me in November.
